Samanda Engels, from Wichita, Kansas, received a Master of Music in Horn Performance. She loves that music can reach anyone, no matter their upbringing or circumstances. She believes music can be a vehicle to bring joy and hope as well as being an outlet. Through music, you can tell your own story or someone’s whose voice is not so easily heard or listened to.

Samanda has performed with numerous groups in Kansas, Oklahoma, and surrounding areas. Some of which include the Wichita Grand Opera, Delano Chamber Brass, various theatre companies, Kansas Ballet Academy, Ohio Light Opera, and The Shrine Circus. She has a passion for musical theatre and all things Broadway. Samanda holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Performance from Kansas State University.
